The Little Witch

He stumbled into the library so warm and dark,
looking for a quiet place to lay his wee little head.
With tiny hands, he felt the pages to find a bookmark,
then set to reading 'The little witch who wore red'.
With battles and tails of great wolves who howl and bark,
his eyes grew wide as the little witch cried out and said,
"You are doomed on this night, for I am not afraid of your bark".
He waved his wand and the snarling wolves were smited and fell down dead.
Then he closed the book and sighed with a quiet remark,
"Wow that was good", but I guess it's time for bed.
